New Missionaries

One of the most exciting things to us is to receive new missionaries into our mission. Here we are as the welcoming crew at the airport waiting for the new arrivals.

We brought the missionaries to the mission home to spend the afternoon with us. Here they are at the end of the day after they've been assigned to their trainers.

It's really an exciting event to find out who your new companion is!

Here the trainers and new missionaries are wondering who they'll be working with.

We thought we would be nice and send all the parents home an e-mail with a picture of their son with us the day they arrived. We only had one goof-up--this Elder's picture went home to the wrong parents. They couldn't believe how their son had grown!

These fifteen elders are the first group to belong to us for their whole mission! We are starting to feel like the mission is ours now.

What a big job! It looks like you are doing great. The missionaries look great too. It kind of gives me the chills to see such worthy young men. They are awesome.

Cute missionaries! I can't believe how tall that one is! I'm excited to meet them all next summer. And you look so cute in all your pictures, Mom.

I went to get my semi-annual check up, and was told Dr. Hart was a mission president now. What a great opportunity to serve! What is your e-mail? I'd like to write you. Thanks much
