Our Visit with Brody's Family June 2012

It was so exciting to greet our family at the airport. Jim was so excited, he couldn't sleep the night before!
BJ still even recognized us! He became Jim's little shadow the whole time they were here. He got up at 6:30 every morning and went and found Jim in the office. Then they would go and have a bowl of Cocoa Puffs.
Here we are arriving at the mission home.

We had a chance to go to a beautiful beach just about an hour away from Salvador for a few days together.
We built an awesome sand castle.
The kids had so much fun!
We pretty much had the beach to ourselves because June is "winter" here in Brazil.
Looks like Jim and Corine really needed a rest.
Brody's daring bull ride. (Pay no attention to the fact that the bull was tied up through the nose.)
One of the fun places where we ate.
Brody's family put on three musical firesides for us while they were here.
The missionaries loved meeting them.
They also performed for our Zone Leader Council at the mission home.
This was taken at one of our firesides.

Some of our sisters asked us to go with them on a P-Day outing. The kids loved the sisters!
This is a cute picture of BJ and our Mission Secretary.
Ivy loved our mission assistants! We went to the zoo with them.
Two more of our cute sisters meeting Eliza.
Makenzie leading the music at Zone Leader Council.
Makenzie even gave the missionaries some violin tips.
This was our entertainment at Zone Leaders Council.
We got to visit the historical places in Salvador.
Makenzie made me this darling apron for my birthday! I couldn't sew like this when I was 9!
BJ and the monkey on his back.
Our pancake breakfast.
For my birthday I received a pendant that has a picture of my grandkids on it.
It was just like Christmas receiving all the things we had sent down.

That looks like such a fun trip! We can't wait until we get to come visit in November!
